Impact

I always open the Sustainability Team’s email newsletters. The content is put together very well and has a really nice mix of articles. From practical tips to understanding the wider impact of sustainability on our world, there’s always something for me to take away.

Tara and Madeleine at Change by Degrees facilitated a workshop for DRCD at the national Local Community Development Committees (LCDCs) networking event in November 2019. The workshop was interesting and engaging and provided practical information for participants on what they could do to contribute to addressing the issue of Climate Change in their lives and their communities. Feedback from the event was very positive and we wouldn’t hesitate to have them facilitate similar workshops in the future.

At Cork Chamber we have worked closely with Change by Degrees to bring independent and informed insight to our sustainability programme at Board level, with the team and among members. Madeleine and Tara bring a wealth of knowledge, passion and energy to this most critical of subjects for all of business and society. I look forward to continuing to work with them.

I was delighted to engage Change by Degrees to do a packaging awareness workshop for our marketing tems as well as making videos make videos for our social media campaign on Packaging and choice in SuperValu. Their reputation as the founders of Plastic Free Kinsale ensured they had credibility and authenticity. Tara and Madeleine brought great insight into what consumers are looking from our brand in terms of packaging. Our teams and customers engaged really well with these practical workshop and down to earth videos.

We worked with Madeleine and Tara to introduce more choice into our store and explore ways to be more sustainable. It’s a service all businesses should avail of no matter how big or small. They offered practical, manageable advice and were a pleasure to work with.
