Irish climate expert Dr Tara Shine has been appointed to a senior UN role with a brief to improve co-ordination between climate scientists and policymakers in meeting key Paris Agreement targets on containing global temperature rise.

Madeleine is representing Change by Degrees as a finalist in the Network Ireland Awards 2020 in the category of Emerging New Business. It is an honour to have won the Cork branch round and we look forward to the national awards this October 2nd.

On Wednesday 2nd September Nationwide on RTE 1 included a feature filmed in Kinsale with Tara as she helps a family to live more sustainably, drawing on her book ‘How to Save Your Planet One Object At A Time’.
